I like to refer to the food that nourishes us from the inside out as SKINFOOD. I'll tell you right now that the best way to take in this good stuff is by blending it in a juicer or blender and drinking it in order for your cells to rapidly absorb the nutrients. It's powerful.
I love green juice and orange juice; green for spinach-based, orange for carrot-based. I'll give you guys my carrot juice recipe the next go-around, but for now I'll indulge you with a recipe for homemade green machine. It's easy on the sugar, high in Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Omega-3's, Magnesium, the stuff your body needs and loves! Keep it simple and tasty with this yummy recipe:
Spinach Pineapple Banana Juice
2 handfuls of spinach
1/4 cup of chopped pineapple
1 medium sized banana
1/2 a cup of unsweetened almond milk
1-2 cup of water (or how much needed to reach desired consistency)
1-2 thumbs of ginger (according to taste)
1-2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal
This is delicious and so good for you. You'll love it; you'll feel good and look even better after drinking some of this for a few days!
